The platinum/platinum plugs are used almost exclusively on turocharged and supercharged cars because they have a very high heat handling ability. This plug is a double platinum aning thin wire platinum center electrode and.a platinum side electrode.and it does have a side electrode. How so? Bosch platinum's went a day and a half and the center electrode was gone. Conventional plugs lasted 2 to 3 weeks before the outside electrode burnt off. My street engine had 9/1 C/R and 15 psi boost. Similar as well to the stationary natural gas engines in the "patch" around here. Interesting! Similar in a way to the VW Corrodo plugs I had the best luck with in my turboed engine. I've installed fancy plugs in all sorts of engines for customers, none of them did much and some even ran worse. Notice the Precise Fuel/Air Management - carbs and point distributors need not apply. If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself. anybody ever tried them / has anything to say about them? Never heard about them before, what makes me wonder. roughly $70 for a set sounded like rip off. what somehow sparked (no pun intended) my interest was the fact, them claiming to basically providing 2 and even 3 sparks per cycle. Now, i am everything but a spark plug expert. I think it was sth about vw ac engines in planes bringing me there.
